Pat loves teaching at Westgate and being part of the Westgate community. Pat grew up in Winkler where he gained a love for the outdoors through camping and fishing with his family. He attended the Mennonite Collegiate Institute in Gretna and continued on his Mennonite journey with stops to earn a Bachelor of Theology at CMBC, a term with Mennonite Disaster Service, counseling and directing in the summer programs at Camps With Meaning and a return to CMU for a Bachelor of Arts. Pat and his wife Ursula are active members at Springstein Mennonite Church. The great experience of building their straw bale house together helped prepare them for having four amazing children, who have become enthusiastic members of the Westgate community.
