After graduating high school, Natalie embraced the adventure and joined Canadian Mennonite University's Outtatown discipleship program. This took her traveling and learning all throughout Canada and South Africa. Upon returning to Canada, Natalie spent a wonderful 4 years studying at CMU. Natalie led on commuter council, sang in the choir, and participated in many events at CMU. Natalie graduated with a bachelor of Social Sciences with a focus in Communications. Natalie enjoys spending her summers out at the lake, reading, kayaking, and swimming. When not at the lake, Natalie makes a point of attending as many Winnipeg Fringe Festival shows as possible and traveling. In the winter, she enjoys cross country skiing and binge watching Netflix. Natalie married her high school sweetheart, Jared Button, fall of 2022. Natalie joined Westgate in August 2021. She has enjoyed getting to know the staff, students, and participating in the many wonderful events that happen in this space.
