Deanna was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After graduating from Westgate Mennonite Collegiate (1994) she attended Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy where she graduated with her Massage Therapy Diploma. Deanna started her massage therapy practice working in clinical settings and after a few years decided to open her own mobile massage therapy practice. Deanna had a successful massage therapy practice for over 20 years working in 3 personal care homes in the city. She enjoyed connecting with the elderly and developed many meaningful relationships with her clients. The COVID pandemic negatively affected Deanna's practice and she began to look elsewhere for employment. An opportunity presented itself and Deanna began working at Westgate in December 2020. She loves being a part of the Westgate community and is blessed to watch her children walk the school halls. Deanna loves spending time with her family. Deanna and her husband Chris have 2 daughters, Mia and Gracie. They love traveling together and spending time at the Falcon Lake cottage. She loves being active and spending time outside with her dog. She loves hiking, baking, puzzling and spending time watching her daughters play volleyball.
