To end off their heat and energy unit the grade 7 classes had the opportunity to put into practice their knowledge of heat transfer. Placing some of the bountiful amounts of snow from the school grounds into a zip-lock bag in combination with some salt to lower the freezing point, then pouring the milk mixture into a separate bag, the students enjoyed some home made Ice Milk. No other labs brings such joy to the faces of our grade 7’s.
